Show Me Your TDs — League Constitution
1. League Format
Show Me Your TDs is a dynasty fantasy football league. Unlike redraft leagues, where rosters reset every season, dynasty teams retain their players year over year. Owners build long-term franchises and are responsible for managing both their current competitive window and the future health of their roster. New player acquisition each year happens primarily through a rookie draft, free agency (FAAB), and trades — not a full re-draft. Roster continuity is the core of the league.
2. Roster & Starting Lineup
Each team starts 9 players each week from a roster of 29 total players.
Starting lineup (9):
- 1 QB
- 2 RB
- 2 WR
- 1 TE
- 2 FLEX (RB/WR/TE)
- 1 SUPERFLEX (QB/RB/WR/TE)
Reserves:
- 14 bench spots
- 6 taxi squad spots
Total roster size: 29 players (9 starters + 14 bench + 6 taxi).
Injured Reserve: Up to 5 IR spots (see Section 7). IR spots are separate from the 29-player roster and do not count toward roster size; they hold only players who officially carry NFL IR status.
3. Scoring
- Full PPR (1.0 point per reception)
- TE Premium: TEs receive an additional 0.5 PPR, for 1.5 points per reception
- All other scoring follows standard league defaults
4. Drafts
Startup Draft
The inaugural draft is an auction-style draft. Every owner has the same auction budget and may bid on any available player. The startup auction fills all 29 drafted roster spots — the 23-player active roster (9 starters + 14 bench) plus the 6 taxi squad spots.
Because 29 drafted players exceed the 23-player active-roster limit, each owner must set a valid roster before regular-season kickoff by designating taxi-eligible players (3 or fewer years of NFL experience) to the taxi squad and/or dropping players, until the active roster is within its 23-player limit. Any drafted player not moved to the taxi squad or dropped counts against the active roster. The 5 IR spots are not drafted; they are filled after the season begins via IR designations, waivers, and free agency.
Rookie Drafts (annual, going forward)
After the startup, the only annual draft is a 4-round linear rookie draft, held in the offseason. The draft is linear (non-snaking) — the same draft order is used in every round (e.g., the team with the 1.01 also holds the 2.01, 3.01, and 4.01, barring trades).
Postseason
The top 6 regular-season finishers enter the playoff bracket competing for the league championship. Teams that miss the playoffs do not compete in a consolation bracket; their rookie draft position is set by regular-season standings (see Draft Order below).
Playoff seeding is by regular-season record among the top 6 finishers, best record earning the #1 seed.
Bracket structure: The top 2 seeds receive a first-round bye. The remaining four seeds play in the first round (3 vs. 6, 4 vs. 5), and survivors advance to the semifinals against the bye teams (1 vs. lowest remaining survivor, 2 vs. other). Semifinal winners meet in the championship game. The two first-round losers play a fifth-place game, and the two semifinal losers play a third-place game, so the bracket produces a complete 1st-through-6th ordering.
Draft Order
Rookie draft order is set entirely by finishing position. There is no lottery.
Picks 1.01–1.06 go to the six teams that miss the playoffs, ordered by inverse regular-season standings:
| Pick | Regular-season finish |
|---|---|
| 1.01 | 12th |
| 1.02 | 11th |
| 1.03 | 10th |
| 1.04 | 9th |
| 1.05 | 8th |
| 1.06 | 7th |
Picks 1.07–1.12 go to the six playoff teams, ordered by inverse playoff finish:
| Pick | Playoff finish |
|---|---|
| 1.07 | 6th place |
| 1.08 | 5th place |
| 1.09 | 4th place |
| 1.10 | 3rd place |
| 1.11 | Runner-up |
| 1.12 | League champion |
Regular-season standings are ordered by record, with total points scored as the tiebreaker.
Draft Pick Trading
- Future rookie draft picks may be traded at any time the trade window is open.
- Picks may be traded up to three years out from the current season.
5. Setting Rosters
Owners are responsible for setting a valid starting lineup each week before kickoff of each player's game.
A valid lineup means:
- A player is set in every starting position (no empty slots),
- Each starting player is projected for more than 0.1 points at the time of kickoff, AND
- No starter may be on a bye week, on IR, or carry an Out designation at the time of kickoff.
Penalties for Invalid Lineups
| Offense | Penalty |
|---|---|
| 1st | Warning |
| 2nd | Warning |
| 3rd and each subsequent offense | Forfeiture of the team's latest-round rookie pick in the next rookie draft |
Offenses accumulate across the season. Each additional offense beyond the third costs the next available latest-round pick (e.g., 4th offense costs the next-latest pick still owned).
6. Taxi Squad
The taxi squad is a 6-player developmental roster for young players.
- A player is taxi-eligible only if they have 3 or fewer years of NFL experience.
- Players may be moved onto the taxi squad only before the start of the regular season. Once Week 1 kicks off, no additions to the taxi squad are allowed for the remainder of the season.
- Taxi players may be promoted to the active roster at any time, but once promoted, they cannot return to the taxi squad that season.
- Taxi players do not count against the active roster and cannot be started.
7. Injured Reserve (IR)
- 5 IR spots.
- A player may only be placed on IR if their official NFL status is IR. Players designated as Out, Doubtful, Questionable, PUP, NFI, or Suspended do not qualify.
- When a player no longer holds IR status, the owner must move them off IR before the next kickoff or the slot is considered invalid.
8. Auto-Subs
- Each team has 2 auto-sub slots configured weekly.
- An auto-sub player must not play before the starter they would be replacing. If the auto-sub's game kicks off before the starter's, the substitution will not trigger and the starter remains locked in.
9. Free Agency & Waivers
- Waivers run on a FAAB (Free Agent Acquisition Budget) system.
- Each team receives $100 FAAB at the start of the season.
- No minimum bid — bids of $0 are allowed.
- Tiebreakers on equal bids go to the team with the worse current standings / lower waiver priority (standard rolling priority).
10. Trades
- Trades are allowed between any two teams at any time during the open trade window.
- Players, FAAB, and draft picks (up to 3 years out) may all be traded.
- No trade vetoes will be issued except in cases of egregious collusion, as determined by the league commissioners. Lopsided trades that reflect different team-building philosophies or competitive windows are not subject to veto.
- Commissioners may investigate and reverse a trade only when there is clear evidence of collusion or an attempt to manipulate league competitiveness.
11. Commissioners
- Commissioners are responsible for enforcing this constitution, processing penalties, ruling on collusion, and resolving disputes not explicitly covered.
- Constitutional amendments require a majority vote of league owners. The commissioners may make minor clarifying edits without a vote, provided they do not change the substance of any rule.
Adopted by the owners of Show Me Your TDs.
Amended September 30, 2026 by majority vote: removed the Toilet Bowl consolation bracket and the weighted rookie draft lottery. Rookie draft order for non-playoff teams is now set by inverse regular-season standings, and only the top 6 teams play a postseason bracket.
